cookware
Cooking appeals to a lot of women. There are women who love it and do it constantly for family and friends. There are also those who dab into it occasionally and there are also women who just stand watch and taste. I belong to the first type as I love cooking and serving delicious meals even during my youth. Though I have collected cookbooks over the years, I don’t really rely on them as I love to experiment with ingredients. Though a complete set of cookware is still on my wish list, I think my dishes are faring well, in my family and friends tastes at least.
I take compliments, suggestions and comments from friends, sisters and in-laws with a grain of salt. Where I am careful though is the feedback from my children, since they don’t give you half-truths when it comes to food. The moments I am usually proud of my cooking skills is when my children brag about it to their classmates and playmates. A heartwarming comment like “you’re the best mom” from my kids is truly music to my ears whenever I make perfect fried chicken and mouth-watering mushroom gravy.
