One of the secrets to a good dish is using the best cookware. It greatly contributes to the texture, taste and overall quality of cooked food. These are intended for use on range cooktop or stove.
There are five basic types of cookware:~Stainless steel – heats up quickly; lasts for a long time~Cast iron and ferritic steel – great heat conductors and cooks evenly~Aluminum – inexpensive and cooks very quickly~Non-stick – usually has an aluminum underneath so it heats up quickly and has non-stick coating for easy cleaning~Glass – best heat insulator; cooks evenly from ovens
