coffee grinders

February 3rd, 2010

The aroma of coffee is so amazing that it lifts your spirits up. So, drinking it freshly brewed in the morning is a beautiful way to start your day. Aside from keeping your coffee fresh, coffee grinders are also known to be cost effective. Compare to off-the-shelves coffee, the one that you grind yourself has stronger aroma and flavor. The longer it stays in bean form, the longer it locks the freshness inside.

Coffee grinders are available in two basic types: manual and electric. If you’re using a drip coffee maker, you can use blade grinders as this coffee machine does not require very fine consistency. These grinders are relatively cheaper. However, if you want to prepare espresso, you would have to use burr grinders. These are typically larger, heavier and more expensive but produce very fine and uniform consistency.
