Arguably the most dangerous place in any home is the kitchen. Any room with sharp knives is dangerous. Add that to a place prone to water spillage and you have a room where accidents are waiting to happen. To make your kitchen safe, always see to it that the floor is dry and keep knives in a kitchen knife block. This will save you lots of band aids.
A kitchen knife block is the only place where you should house your knives. Keeping it in the drawer is dangerous. Reaching for a knife in a kitchen drawer is an accident waiting to happen. Also, besides its functionality, kitchen knife blocks will make your kitchen look good. I even think of my knife block as a kitchen art piece.
