Ways to Display Cupcakes
The cupcake craze has spawned new display tools, packaging designs and new recipes. Cupcake lovers were not just content with the usual colored paper cupcake wrappers. There were designs for every special event. There is a baseball themed wrapper for a boy’s birthday and star-spangled designs for July 4th. Cupcakes were used as wedding favors. Of course they came in special wrappers appropriate for a wedding.
Baking supplies stores carry all sorts of display stands. There are stands that look like candle holders that can hold half a dozen cupcakes. There are large stands that when full look like large cakes themselves. In some parties, these displays take the place of a traditional cake. And why not, they are already pre-portioned. You do away with the messy part – that of slicing a huge layer cake.
