ceramic kitchen knives
I don’t exactly remember when my mother allowed me to use the kitchen knife. I loved to watch her cook our meals and I have always been intrigued by the different kinds of knives she used. The paring knife was the small knife used for peeling potatoes and fruits. The cleaver was the wide and heavy knife used for cutting meat and chicken. The chef’s knife did everything else that the paring knife or cleaver was not good for.
Those were times when ceramic kitchen knives were not even in the minds of whoever invented it. Makes you think about the evolution of the kitchen knife. To think that the first knives were made from stone, and before they were made of metal they had to pass through being fashioned from wood and bone. Makes you think what more can we expect from the kitchen knife?
