My wife is a really great cook and sometimes she even tells me that she wanted to be a chef when she was younger. I tell her that it’s not too late and she should just keep on cooking. She always asks me why I always encourage her and I just tell her that as a husband it’s my duty to encourage her. But what she didn’t know is that I had a surprise for her.
On her 40th birthday I surprised her with a complete set of Maxam stainless steel cookware. She loved them very much but then it wasn’t the end of my surprise. I gave her a draft of the blueprint of her soon-to-be restaurant. I told her to use the cookware in the restaurant and that now she can live her dreams of becoming a chef.

We are lucky to be living in an era when cooking is easy and convenient. Look back to the days when open air cooking was the norm. It was difficult to control the temperature of the food that was being cooked. The fuel used then was either wood or coal. It created too much mess. Aside from the hardships of cooking there was the difficulty of cleaning up that had to be dealt with.
Now there are all sorts of cooking gadgets and appliances that make preparing food easy. Cooking stoves turn on with just the flick of a knob; and there is no problem controlling the temperature. There are cookers that will cook meat to fork tenderness in just minutes. There are also waterless stainless cookware sets that can cook the healthiest meals. We just have to be thankful for these innovations and look forward to more to come.
